Been playing rise of the tome raider. Excellent game so far but the story......makes me think they are taking a shot at the Christina faith. The main antagonist is an evil stigmata experiencing maniac who works for an evil organization called trinity. Lots of mention of the Byzantine empire, lots of Greek and Russian texts that Lara comes into contact with. And there is this mention of a prophet who was persecuted, he seems like a Christ-like figure.

It's no Skyrim, but it'll do for now...

Dragon Age: Inquisition. Loved the first game, liked the second, and rather enjoying this one.

Hoplite. It's really good.

Tome Raider? Is this a crazy mod of Tomb Raider. Weird that the game would have Christian symbols deliberately implied to be evil. How does the prophet intervene in gameplay. Any other sports gamers out here?

After beating the main story (and sidequests) for Arkham Knight around Christmas, I've been playing a ton of Fallout 4. Both are a lot of fun.

Arkham Knight was a good ending to the rocksteady Arkham trilogy. When I tire of Fallout 4 I'm going to jump back in and play the Harley Quinn missions.

I'm liking this game more and more, though the jumping animations and trying to stop after running can be frustrating. Ahh well, small gripes I guess.

More Elder Scrolls. Finally figured out how to use the group finder functions, and beat the Selene's Web and Elden Root dungeons. Looking forward to completing the others one by one.

Also anticipating a chance to play the Underdark update of Neverwinter.

I literally only have the final boss fight before I technically complete my first playthrough of Tales of Xillia. Having spent so long on it because of school, work, vacation, etc., I'd like to play another JRPG before trying a New Game+ or Xillia 2, but I'm having trouble figuring out which of the 8 or 9 unplayed JRPGs I own I should make a go at next.

Have been messing around with some old games using DosBox: Civilization 1, Rockstar!, and AD&D Curse of the Azure Bonds. Gonna look up SimCity next... I've played the SNES emulated version recently, but it's been a couple decades probably since I played the PC version.

World of Warships
ARK
Rome Total War II
Rainbow Six Seige

mostly.

Finished a co-op campaign in Shogun Total War II not long ago.  Took three attempts.

Thinking about getting Gun on steam.  Played the heck out of that game on xbox back in the day.

This past week, I got Qbert and something called Factotum 90. The latter is a cute space game where you move two little box-shaped robots to solve puzzles. You have to manipulate levers, gates, that kind of thing. The goal is to get your ship's power switched back on. It's a fun little story.

I think it is at least as enjoyable as the first.  There is a bit more unit variety and the Egyptians aren't quite as anachronistic.  Rome is still ROFLstomp if you play as them but in co-op we took them down alright as Lusitanians and Carthaginians.

If you like total wars it is worth playing I think, though it is on the current model of DLCing half the game, but alas.

Yeah, the Romans are utterly devastating. Especially after you fully convert over from the Hastati, Pricepe, and Triarii units. Then its on like Donkey Kong.

The Greek nations are just silly, unfortunately.

Some of my best games were as Epirus.  I love pike phalanxes.  Pikes are about the only thing with a fighting chance against Romans.

Super Tribes. It's an extremely simplified version of Civilization, and it's really, really good. To be honest, I actually prefer this extremely strip-downed, streamlined game to the full-on Civ games.

There's no diplomacy, but the AI is actually pretty impressive and I often find myself in tacit alliances with neighboring tribes against stronger enemies- our units pass each other by without any attacks. Of course your "friends" can and will stab you in the back when the tides change.

It's also free at the appstore, with no ads and no obnoxious IAP. The only IAP is an additional tribe you can play for $0.99, so you really are getting the game for free.

My only major criticism is that all games are limited to 30 turns. I can understand why it was set up this way, but many times I find myself having recovered from a desperate situation, about to unleash sweet vengeance against the enemy, when the game ends. There should be some kind of endless mode allowed.

Battlefleet Gothic Armada.  I used to play it tabletop and loved it then.  In BFG:A's favour, it pretty much is BFG but in real time and on a computer.  Don't fix what isn't broken!

This week in Elder Scrolls, everyone gets a free cake from the in-game Crown Store.
I want to play it again, I really do. But Cyrodil is just so one-hitty that I cant bring myself to do it.

If a PS4 version of Skyrim is announced at E3 this year then I'm afraid it is going to destroy the Orthodox version of E3 (Ecumenical-lite council, scheming Ecumenical Patriarch, Ecumenically-toned bickering). Father, forgive me, for I don't know why I should care. Um... anyway. 8)
