Since we live close to each other Asteriktos, can I observe you on a date? It would be wildly entertaining.

I saw this cute chick sitting at a table with an open seat and kept walking. I guess I gotta start manning up.

All by herself too? Man you let that one go?

Gotta approach the helpless prey...

It's a good thing that you didn't fill the empty seat. That would have been awkward.

Probably not since it was a group seminar, she's fairly outgoing, there were other people around and I'm not autistic.

In situations such as these, it is best to find the biggest chap nearby, punch him in the face as hard as you can, then sit down with her and say, "Now, where were we..."?

Thinking of the last two real dates I was on... observing would possibly wilder than you'd think, or possibly more boring. Could go either way depending on the date, time, girl, place, etc.

It is hard to argue against this precise statement unless your first date is willing to pay for everything, including your rent.

How do you date if you're a broke college student who can't chivalrously offer to pay for everything?

Take her to a park. Make sandwiches and carry some snacks along. Walk and walk. Then eat. It is delicious.

I have neither a car nor $150 Sad  Though on a positive note, I dated my last girlfriend for 4 months and didn't spend $150 the entire time (not including household expenses such as food and tobacco)

Ok guys, I want to date the girl in this video. Like, a lot. Just three problems:

1) She doesn't know I exist
2) She's out of my league
3) She lives in Australia

I am now a member of her facebook fan page, so I will very gradually deal with #1 by worming my way into her heart with witty geekisms and smoothly insightful compliments. So, if you all could help me overcome #2, I will do my best to take care of #3. Help me out!

Ok guys, I want to date the girl in this video.

Help me out!

I watched this. I find her a bit irritating. Nevertheless, I recommend skipping her Facebook account and concentrating on her twitter account (https://twitter.com/JessMcDonell). She claims to respond to all twitter messages. But I recommend setting up a facebook account based on something she finds adorable and posting your witticism as the voice of what she finds adorable, every day, for about three months first.

Now you're just being silly! I was talking about her being in the gaming journalist league, while I'm in the theology nut league. Two completely different leagues, though part of the same sport of geekery.  I enjoy games, I just need to find out if she likes theology. I can't be with someone that doesn't dig theology.

Theology quite possibly even more so than the other.

I still think he's in for some heavy duty evangelization.  Not all blood sports are equal.

I'm up to the challenge! I can't tell you how often I fantasize about getting together with a beautiful girl, laying down in bed, and talking Scripture and patristics all night long. Then next day she brags to all her friends about how I'm a theologizing machine. Ok, the fantasy is partly just to stroke my ego and make me feel like more of a man, but still, who wouldn't find that enjoyable?

It's not a derailment at all.  Get you some horse chops and serve it to the girl.  If she eats it without complaint or asking what it is, that's the one you marry.  Problem solved!

How dare you eat horses!  Angry

You know my proclivities towards such magnificent beasts.  How would you like it if I ate your family?!?

Why, that would be cannibalism!  But if a horse ate a loved one of mine, then that would be more equivalent, albeit disturbing.  As to your, *ahem*, proclivities, it matters not for your magnificent love is a non-edible entity.  Unless you are a moth or beaver.

May I remind you:

Or did you leave her?

I think there are some things about our beloved TheTri that we don't fully know yet.
