Looking for books or articles (hopefully objective lol) which deal with his episcopate and particularly his part (whatever it was) in all the mob violence. Thanks.

What exactly are you wondering about Saint Cyril? If we could know the specific question you have in mind, it might help to point you to the most helpful source.

I'd like to know just how much blood he has on his hands, mostly.

I just realized how bad this sounds. Undecided I'm really sorry.

I don't want to be disrespectful or judgmental, folks. I'm just feeling wounded again.

Well, I guess I can rule out Jonathan Hills  laugh.

Father McGuckin seems to have one of the best books on it.

Any others?

I hope you know that no one takes the idea seriously that Saint Cyril directly had blood on his hands, but the debate is only about his instigation or his complacency in the mob actions.

Yes, definitely try to get your hands on both of Fr. McGuckin's books on St. Cyril

Saint Cyril of Alexandria and the Christological Controversy
On the Unity of Christ by Saint Cyril (translated by Fr. McGuckin)

HE Metropolitan Bishoy here gives an account re-considering St Cyril's supposed murder of hypatia.
