Has anyone seen this? Is it good? What perspective is it told from? I'm not sure but I think the producers (Vision Forum Video) are evangelicals, so I'm wary.

I want something that gives the history of the Orthodox Church accurately, something I can let my husband and kids watch to try to interest them, and show them the ancient origins of the Orthodox Church.

Would this be good for that?

I don't know this book, but have you tried to search on Youtube?  That could be a good starting point.  There are so many posts on Orthodoxy.  I've always found it interesting how people come to Orthodoxy.  For some it's the history, some the service, some theology, some the Holy Scriptures, some through observing nature and others through hearing the chants.  But, we can never know what will be that one thing that will make the difference.  So try all the angles and see what happens.  What convinced you will not convince him.

Fwiw, there are reviews of it on amazon.com, which might give some idea as to what it's like...

Yes, yes, youth is wasted on the young. And so is accumulated experience wasted on the old, the positives of modernism wasted on moderns, the beauty of Christianity wasted on Christians, the utility of scholarship wasted on scholars, and on and on.
