Could someone read the Syriac writing on my icon of St Severus of Antioch? Obviously I don't expect people to be able to read the very tiny writing at the bottom, but the writing at the top is visible. I found the icon here. Thanks in advance, Severian

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more. A hasty quarrel kindles fire, and urgent strife sheds blood. If you blow on a spark, it will glow; if you spit on it, it will be put out; and both come out of your mouth

Nice! Seriously, is there anything you don't know? I've learned so much history & geography from reading your posts.
