My birthday is this Sunday.  I am turning 30.  Prayers for me.

I know I am and I'm only 25. It's a tough milestone.

Are you depressed about turning 30?

You know a lot of people tell me that I should be depressed about it.  Most who I know over 30 tell me that they were and its a natural thing.  At first I kind of puffed it off because I'm not usually a very vain person and it didn't seem to matter much, just another mark on the calendar.

However my life is in pretty sorry shape right now and the addition of turning 30 on top of that (Which is usually considered as the ultimate step to adulthood) Makes me feel anxious about the future.  Now that I've reached this milestone year I'm officially out of my adolescence and the comfort it brought me (Knowing that regardless of what mistakes I've made and problems I had, I was still in my youth).  Now I really feel pressured to face the music and make something valuable out of my life and unfortunately, at this point this is a real uphill climb to accomplish.  I keep hoping and praying that somehow, and in someway something good will happen and my life will get back on track (Even if the present chances of that happening for me are very slim).  I just have to keep faith in a brighter future for myself irregardless of the present realities of my life.

Thank you all for your prayers.

At least you get a discount on your car insurance, at least a positive.

May God grant the old man Robb many years.

(I turn 30 next march, so not too far behind.  laugh )
