On June 27, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, will depart the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to pay a four-day Pontifical visit to Saint Petersburg, Russia and Riga, Latvia.

In Saint Petersburg, His Holiness will participate in the celebrations dedicated to the 300th Anniversary of the Armenian community. The Pontiff of All Armenians will conduct the opening for the exhibition of the Armenian book entitled "Armenian-Russian Spiritual Ties", as well as preside over the blessing service and opening ceremony of the cultural center "Armenian-Russian Friendship" in Saint Petersburg.

Was His Holiness greeted by the Patriarch of Moscow and all-Russia, or any delegate from the EO churches?

The news coming out so far has him meeting with representatives of the Armenian community of St. Petersburg:
