The Synod in Resistance has granted its Bishop George of the Orthodox Church in South Ossetia retirement. I was of the understanding that Bishop George was more interested in the Moscow Patriarchate than the Old Calendrists, but this says he's been retired due to health issues. Anyone know anything in-depth on this?
