At International Conference on Bipolar Disorder in Pittsburgh, patients and families will join in, too

To those with bipolar disorder, the disease is all-encompassing, affecting almost every area of their lives.
 
But the medical professionals working in the field can rarely address bipolar in the same way -- researchers focus on research and clinicians on their clinical work. Advocacy groups are on their own as well.
 
The Ninth International Conference on Bipolar Disorder, which is meeting next weekend in Pittsburgh, aims to change that...
