The Coptic Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Athanasius in Ontario, Canada was the site of a service for the victims of anti-Christian violence in Egypt.

From the article:
Quote
Religious violence in Egypt has continued to escalate since the ousting of President Hosni Mubarak as the country makes the transition to a democratic government. Christian churches have been bombed and Coptic women and children are being frequently kidnapped.

“These crimes were committed by powerful and dangerous radicals,” (Fr.) Saad said.

Memory Eternal to those who died! It's only right to remember them. Could we (Chalcedonians) pray for them as well?
