Chasin' down a Hoodoo...

« on: May 21, 2011, 01:20:30 AM »

Hey y'all!

Could any of you list any good books about our apostle Paul?  I'd prefer an Eastern Orthodox perspective, but any that are historically accurate will suffice.  Thanks a million!

I certainly don't (no sarcasm). The book by A.N. Wilson titled Paul: The Mind of the Apostle was great. Wilson wasn't a believer at the time that he wrote it, so that's a plus.

Yes, yes, youth is wasted on the young. And so is accumulated experience wasted on the old, the positives of modernism wasted on moderns, the beauty of Christianity wasted on Christians, the utility of scholarship wasted on scholars, and on and on.
