Are monks living at Mt. Athos in northern Greece happier people than people in the outside world? Father Matthew certainly thinks so and explains why.

Sadly, some people feel that monks are arrogant for saying that they feel sorry for people living in the world.
I think that this monk addressed that question quite eloquently when he said that monks feel sorry that people do not avail themselves of the Grace of God which would help increase their joy.
