Archbishop of the Youth in the Coptic Orthodox Church Anba Moussa spoke to Gamral Nkrumah of news website Al-Ahram Weekly, about the recent wave of sectarian violence in Egypt. He addressed issues such as the claims of Abeer Fakhri, who alleged that she had been detained at a Coptic Church against her will.

From the article:
Quote
"And, suppose there is such a person. Is it up to her ostensive defenders to take the law into their own hands? What we are witnessing is the law of the jungle. We cannot tolerate mob justice. There are proper channels through the courts and through the authorities to ascertain if our accusers' version of events is true," Anba Moussa lamented.

Biro, thanks for posting this. I'm heartened to see HG Anba Moussa speak so strongly on the matter. The Church has kept quiet for too long about these Salafist lunatics.
