The Feast of Sts. Cyril and Methodius commemorates the brothers who evangelized the Slavic peoples and crafted an alphabet, the Glagolitic, which over time became the Cyrillic, used to this day for several languages. The two became known by honorifics including 'Equal to the Apostles.'
