I was wondering if there was any chance of getting back an aspect that was part of the Old Forum. On the front page that listed the various fora, there was at the bottom a part that said what the latest half-dozen posts were. Is there any chance that this could be added? Not important, I just found it helpful.

Actually, it's not set up the same way. Now you have to click on "View the 10 most recent posts on the board" rather than just having them already displayed. Not a big deal, but I much prefer the old way myself.

Speaking of old board / new board, am I the only one who doesn't see the dates and times of old post like back in the 'old days'? The only ones that appear are those that say "posted Today" at etc, etc. Not vital to the functioning of the board, but it would be nice.

Well, all the code modifications i made to the previous board got lost.
In my move to Rome, I had sent a CD to Anastasios with the old board code on it. Unfortunately, the CD never got to him! I am currently in contact with the UPS to see where the package got to.
If possible, make a list of things you remember, and I will go ahead and reimplement them.
SOrry for the hassle.

Thank you very much for reinstalling (reprogramming?) the section on the main forum page that shows the last few posts, who wrote them, what time, etc. It isn't really a big deal, it does make things more convenient though. Also just wanted to thank you for having the stats section. Math was my worse subject in school and I totally hate it, but for some reason I really dig statistics. Now I'm just sounding strange, lol.  Anyway, thanks very much for getting the forum back up and running. |
