I cannot explain my love for curling nor my hate for soccer.

I do have to admit that watching a soccer game in person is MUCH better than watching it on television, though.

Is looking down your nose at physical activities because they are below you (but really because you suck at them) a sport?

I am possibly the worst athlete on this earth, but there's still a reason to enjoy sports -- watch everyone getting sweaty while you're chilling with a hot dog, curly fries and a cold drink!

And curling is chess on ice. Look into it! Wink

Baseball, baseball, baseball, oh, and baseball!
I also like hunting and fishing if those count as sports.
Soccer, however, I cannot stand.

It's a great burden being under the anathema of wider Australian society, hahah.

How did you get into AFL from the other side of the world?

Curling? Honestly? You're the first person I've encountered that enjoys curling in a non-ironic manner, hahah.

I'm really, really, ridiculously (like, 200-hit+ combo) good at violent video games. Does that count?

You'd probably be good at shooting! There's a sport.

Not that everyone has to like sports, but I do think it's sad that people don't enjoy doing things that they aren't good at. If that was the case, I wouldn't enjoy anything!

I play on an Aussie Rules team here in the states, they have a national league we play in. Some Australian guys started the club. We have 2 guys from Melbourne, 1 from Adelaide, and 1 from Perth. The rest of us are American or Irish.

We have a US National Aussie Rules team too, which btw I got offered a try out for. Wink
