In the future, 900 years after a global war, the only remaining forces in the world are the Vatican, ruled by the puppet pope Alessandro XVIII, the 399th leader of the city. From the old colonies in Mars, mutant humans - now called vampires due to their resamblance to the mythic creatures - have returned and formed the New Humans Empires with its capital in Constantinople. Further, England remains as a neutral force and a number of conspirancies try to advance their interests.

Trinity Blood is an anime set in a dark futuristic Vatican vs Constantinople scenario.

In this episode, the main characters - agents from the Vatican, arrive at Constantinople. Hagia Sophia is still there 900 years in the future and after a global war.

You seriously think his comments have to do with some underlying hatred of monasticism?

On a completely shallow note, his intonation is annoying. I do want to watch his videos sometime, though. I've only read the stuff on his website.

Maybe. The video I posted is completely bereft of the reasons I hear people complain about Br. Nathnael - he simply describes his monastic experience. I figured that even Br. Nathanael's critics could at least appreciate this video...
