Ok so don't get a skwin on about how long this video is, its worth it, the bloke is a legend!!! I watched this a couple years ago but i still love it. Major WARNING though because he says F about 20 times so if your a sensibilities person then don't click on it and belly ache to me after. I already asked a moddy if i could post it. But Beardyman (in the video) is such a genius that its so worth it.

I just discovered that they are showing braveheart in tv tonight so and since it is(in my opinion) one of the best movies ever made I thought that I would honour this theatrical masterpiece with this excellent video ;)

Behold the Bugnado!

Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis and now . . .  bugnadoes! In the great state of Iowa, a swirling vortex of insects was spotted (and videotaped) above a cornfield. This is not a drill, people.

A buzzy article from LiveScience helps to explain the phenomenon, which, thankfully, isn't all that common. Professional storm chaser and photographer Mike Hollingshead caught the bugnado on video on July 4. He uploaded the clip to the Web, and, not surprisingly, the video has since gone viral. What was it like to see in person? Hollinghshead told Life's Little Mysteries that the air "looked like it was smoking."

The rest of this article and video can be viewed here: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/behold-bugnado-203649838.html

Lamentatio sanctae matris ecclesiae Constantinopolitanae

Lament of the Holy Mother Church of Constantinople
by  Guillaume Dufay in 1454 as part of an effort to inspire a Crusade to save Constantinople

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chkFXZJb2dw&feature=share

O tres piteulx de tout espoir fontaine,
Pere du filz dont suis mere esplorée,
Plaindre me viens a ta court souveraine,
De ta puissance et de nature humaine,
Qui ont souffert telle durté villaine
Faire à mon filz, qui tant m'a hounourée.

O most merciful fount of all hope,
Father of the son whose weeping mother I am:
I come to complain before your sovereign court,
about your power and about human nature,
which have allowed such grievous harm
to be done to my son, who has honored me so much.

Dont suis de bien et de joye separée,
Sans qui vivant veule entendre mes plaints.
A toy, seul Dieu, du forfait me complains,
Du gref tourment et douloureulx oultrage,
Que voy souffrir au plus bel des humains.
Sans nul confort de tout humain lignage.

For that I am bereft of all good and joy,
without anyone alive to hear my laments.
To you, the only God, I submit my complaints,
about the grievous torment and sorrowful outrage,
which I see the most beautiful of men suffer
without any comfort for the whole human race.

Omnes amici ejus spreverunt eam, non est qui consoletur eam ex omnibus caris ejus. ('All her friends have scorned her; of all her beloved ones there is not one to comfort her.'),

"Caipira" music, little known outside Brazil

"The Power of the Creator"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzpD4XOVFys

It was a sad hour
when Jesus Christ said
Mother, the time is coming
You stay and I go

Surely mother and son
Right now wept
Painful sad time
Because the pain of parting
is known only by those who felt it

Maria said My son
do everything the Father told you
To save humanity
He ordered You.

With tears falling
Her face, He kissed
To fulfill the prophecy
At that moment the Messiah
Every sin embraced

On the banks of the Jordan River
Jesus Christ walked
To find John
The one who testified

The meeting was so beautiful
That the people was moved
It was also during this visit
That in the hands of John the Baptist
Jesus was baptized

At the table of the Lord's Supper
Jesus Christ commanded
Teach my commandments
Where my Father is I go

If the world hates you
It also hated me
Do good regardless of whom to
The reward will come
This is what Jesus prophesied
Many energies, three persons, two natures, one God, one Church, one Baptism.

Not bad, could have been better though with more thought put into it... but they have time :) Anyway, two important things: 1) Based on the doorway, those guys seem to be living in a house that is in a state of disrepair; and 2) That doorbell music is the same that I used to hear at my best friend's house. Ahhh, good times...
