Jingle Bells Brazilian Northeast style

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGDO99gmb1Q

I expected it to be a bit more forró than the switching back and forth between styles from more places than Nordeste.

They are from Nordeste. Northeasterns have been on a crusade to show the diversity of the region ranging from long established local rythms to contemporary styles.

To compensate, here's a Christmas Cordel

Many Energies, 3 Persons, 2 Natures, 1 God, 1 Church, 1 Baptism, and 1 Cup. The Son begotten only from the Father, the Spirit proceeding only from the Father, Each glorifying the Other. The Son sends the Spirit, the Spirit Reveals the Son, the Father is seen in the Son. The Spirit spoke through the Prophets and Fathers and does so even today.

Vukašin Milićević is a priest in the Serbian Orthodox Church in Bežanijska Kosa, a part of Belgrade, and on July 7, he explained Orthodox theology to a group of protestant students from North Carolina. The group of 20 students came to Serbia to learn more about Orthodox faith and tradition and how Protestants and Orthodox can have a better understanding of each other. Great priest.

Author Joseph Pearce discusses his autobiography which details his spiritual conversion from racism to faith in Christ. A wonderful book!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woYBPjMnhfo

“There were three particular enemies I had: a punk rocker whose views were opposed to mine, a Jewish lawyer who was a libertarian and was opposed to my views, and a policeman. And each of them showed me love. And receiving love from an enemy… well, you can’t argue with it. Ultimately, the way you convert people is to become holy. I know that’s easier said than done. But in the presence of sanctity, in the presence of love, all of our prejudices are disarmed. And looking back I see how those acts of love by people who were my enemies had a very significant healing effect upon me.”

You have to be a pilot to fully appreciate this. Stupid controller. Arrogant butthole

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrYGoJTj0RU

Some facts

1. The pilot has a duty to do what is safe. If the controller give a bad command, he has a duty to point it out or do what is safe. It is not the controller who "controls" ultimately. It's the pilot's plane.
2. The controller vectored the pilot into oncoming traffic from JFK (or Laguardia maybe). This is not wrong strictly speaking, but it's not orthodox. The dangerous are obvious. It's not like heading into oncoming traffic on the road. The air is open, and the planes can manage strictly speaking. But again, it is not a good idea. This is why the pilot follows the order, but is thinking it is a bad one in the back of his mind. He should have asked the controller if he was mistaken, even told him he refused to take that heading for safety reasons. But that is a judgment call, and the real jerk here is the controller, even if the pilot would ultimately be at fault if there was a crash. That is what the NTSB would say I think. But the controller would be partially at fault.

A different, likely more accurate of O Mio Babbio Caro from a rendition of the opera. "Gianni Schicchi" is a comedy, and though the aria is usually sung seriously and passionately, there is a little facetious quality to the girl begging her father, though she is earnest in her love. The singer shows a clever, seductive, duplicitious spirit

Personally I wish it was 2006 again because that was before I botched my college career. I could have been a PhD by now. Now I'm just pushing 30 and still a loser living with his mom lol. Nostalgia was originally a painful illness, after all...
