Nice little documentary detailing some Old Believer traditions, mostly focusing on the wedding of a young couple.  They would be married for 33 years by now!

Does anyone remember this show?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVVPwWz73mU

I remember coming across this in high school (the early 2000s) and watching it because of all the hot girls. Seriously it's loaded with hot girls, and hot guys I guess if you are a girl. It always has been. Teenage drama but I remember it. The years with Miriam McDonald, Lauren Collins, Cassie Steele and the other originals was the best. But it still was good with some of the later ones. Nina Dobrev from the Vampire Diaries, a Bulgarian national, played in it for a while. She's Orthodox.  ;) I should marry her instead of Taylor Swift. No need to convert her. Actually her name is pretty cool: Nikolina Konstantinova Dobreva. I am going to give my daughter that middle name, Constantinova. My sister, who is white and married a white guy with no Spanish ancestry, named my recent niece Maya Quetzala. Yep I am going to make my dad even more made and give him another name he will not be able to pronounce. "Giving her a Russian name!" He still is (jokingly) mad at my sister for giving my new niece a "Mexican" name.

Please do a search for "God" and "Jesus" in the same passage in the New Testament (e.g., at Bible Gateway), you'll find plenty of examples along the lines of what I did.  :P

It makes Jesus into this sort of hippie, feel good guy. "God and Jesus are soooooooooooooo good. I love Jeeezus." Little kids can say it. But adults should at least have a basic understanding of the matter.
