This is a funny Romanian commercial. It's funny in many ways, but each decide for himself. It is about a buy and sell website. The guy says that his neighbors listened to music until late at night and now he posts an ad looking for a drilling machine that doesn't have to be new, but once you plug it in, it works. Smiley

This is some of my reggae dub poetry from a while back. Thought it would be appropriate to share during this Halloween season. My wife provided the wonderful background vocals. Burning wickedness in high and low places without apology! More Fire!!!

It's a little surreal to suddenly associate a voice with someone you've only known through text and photos.

I went in assuming your voice would be deeper but after watching your video twice, I can no longer remember exactly how you were supposed sound.

For a few years now, I've always tried to make it to a sung Latin Mass on 2 November or thereabouts to hear this, among other things.  This year, God willing, it'll be Mozart's Requiem

I'm sorry for your loss.

Thanks. I doubt I can make a sung requiem this year, but yeah Mozart's is great. Thanks for the condolences, truly. I need to visit his grave when I get up to Louisville. But in any case I hope I can do my tradition of toasting Marie Antoinette with a bottle of champagne in the famous glass that is said to be designed because of her breasts. Seriously, I think it's a wive's tale, but it's fun. I remember one year I had a $60 bottle of real champagne, you know from France. I think this year I will have to settle for Korbel. November 2 is her birthday. I'll have to remember to raise on to Father Schoenbachler. He always wanted us to pray for the poor souls. Told us when he dies to pray for him. What a saint. It's a special thing to get a saint of a confessor and spiritual father.

Malala Yousafzai Preaches Nonviolence on John Stewart

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18-DzIW-hZE

Selam

She was flown here to Birmingham and treated by the same neurosurgeons and others that treated returning soldiers. A remarkable young girl, who I very much respect. Certainly her views on non-violence are striking as is her relentless campaign to get all children access to schooling. A remarkable product of the beautiful Swat valley.

Benjamin Zander: The transformative power of classical music

http://www.ted.com/talks/benjamin_zander_on_music_and_passion.html

Benjamin Zander has two infectious passions: classical music, and helping us all realize our untapped love for it -- and by extension, our untapped love for all new possibilities, new experiences, new connections. A leading interpreter of Mahler and Beethoven, Benjamin Zander is known for his charisma and unyielding energy -- and for his brilliant pre-concert talks

First I hate John Stewart.

Now I loath him. What a piece of dreck. Pure and simple.

For Fall 2013, Alexander Wang continues to play with his seasonal T by Alexander Wang videos as a platform for experimentation. This video is set in an unexpected scenario, directed by Darren Stein. Alexander Wang invited New Yorkers to a 'one-time-only undisclosed event' digitally where the initial 'open call' revealed only a location and a time. Hints and updates were leaked on the days leading up to the event via Twitter and Facebook. Once the doors to the lobby area opened, Wang revealed in a projected video message that attendees will have access to pieces from the T by Alexander Wang collection -- for free; no shopping bags or shopping carts. See the video for the full story.

Is it bad that I actually was hoping for people to be trampled/maimed/killed during this video?  That was ridiculous and stupid.
