It looks like there is an error in the icon. There appear to be letters missing here and there. It is likely supposed to be from Zachariah 1:3: επιστρέψατε πρός με, λέγει Κύριος των δυνάμεων - Turn unto me, says the LORD of hosts.
I'll try and investigate it further.

I can read Greek passably well and I find that impossible.
If you don't have an answer by the end of the day I'll ask my yiayia and/or papou.

Indeed fr the "ἐξεκέντησαν" part is written with an ypsilon: "ἐξεκέντυσαν It's from John 19:37 (referring to Zechariah's prophecy): "They shall look on him whom they pierced" (KJV) "Καὶ ὄψονται πρός με, πρός ὅν ἐξεκέντησαν"

And thanks to everyone that helped! Edit: It is from Crete. I don't know if that explains the spelling oddities.

No-one on my facebook could read it, either.
I feel better about my own Greek proficiency now, haha.
