A Little Help for the Newbies

Sometimes mods/admins will say something like "Contact Fr. Chris if you need X," but then they don't say how to contact Fr. Chris. For someone familiar with the forum that's no big deal, and sending him a PM is not an issue. However, people new to the forum, or perhaps even new to the internets, might not know how to find Fr. Chris (or whoever). Would it be possible for mods/admins to please start providing links when you tell someone to message so-and-so?

We do have a list of all members which is searchable.  If you go to it and search for "chris," Fr. Chris is the fourth hit.  The same thing works for anyone else they might need to find rather than us having to find and hyperlink the appropriate forum profile every single time we reference an individual on here.

You would think so....but not everyone does.

Some people, especially senior citizens, can have problems with forums.
Even sending a PM can be challenging.

That would be a good idea, if they could find a volunteer for it. I have seen other forums do that, either by having someone that goes through all the new profiles and welcomes them by PM, or has someone monitor a thread set aside for new people introducing themselves.
