A few months back, I printed off all the Akathatists I could find online, divided them into categories, and put them into a binder so that now I have a bootlegged Akathist Book.
Some have expressed interest in doing similarly, and with the thought I might be missing some, I make this thread asking everyone to link to Akathists they know of online.

here is a list of Akathists I found over at Rdr. Alex's excellent site, The Onion Dome (these are real Akathists--not spoofs--found under the subpage "Orthodoxy on the Web"): http://www.mousethief.com/orthodox/akathist.htmlThere are a couple there I had not seen before either. Joe Zollars

I don't know if there are akathists at this site, but I know there's a ton of other stuff (mostly, if not all, in Slavonic unforunately). Check it out though... http://www.rocm.org/e_genindex.htm

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

I've printed off copies of akathists and other prayers from the links pager of theoniondome, as well as monachos.net and http://www.catholic-forum.com/members/popestleo/dailyprayer.htmlIs this bootlegging if it is for persoanl use? Also are these prayers considered copywrite protected? The Episcopal Book of Common Prayer is considered in the publc domain for non-profit duplication, are prayers from Orthodox sites as well?

I know the ROCM site for the most part is free, except the Panyhida.

It is alright for personal use--not sure about commercial use, which is of course just plain silly as Akathist Books are available fairly cheaply.
