They actually stopped making the civilian version of the Hummer/Hummvee a few years back.  The Chevy/GMC Hummer 2 is basically a Chevy Suburban, using the same power train and chassis.  That little Chevy H3, not sure what it is based on, but the point is the same.  The original Civilian Hummer/Hummvee is of course not based on a Chevy Suburban and is about as far away from being the Suburban based Chevy Hummer as I am from being Icelandic.  That's what makes having a Chevy H2 even more ironic.
