Doors of the Armenian Church in Geneva were closed. The Church Council decided to close the church on Sunday.

Why have they done this?  Has the Armenian community there dried up, or was it politically motivated?

I remember reading how their was a large Armenian community that settled in the Rhone valley of France after the genocide.  are they till there?

Catholicos Karekin just appointed a locum tenens for the Armenian Orthodox Diocese of Switzerland, so perhaps this is a dispute between the cathedral in Geneva and the Catholicate?
