It seems that many Westerners have been flocking to Eastern religions because they are ignorant of Orthodox spirituality.  The Enlightenment era really did a number on Christianity, which is itself an Eastern religion.  Because you say that your heart belongs to the Coptic Orthodox Church, why not devote your time and energy to that before delving into another tradition?  One of our members has created a wonderful website that you may find helpful called erkohet (sp?) dot net or dot com.

Can anything good come out of Mauritius? Well, yes, but this fellow looks suspicious. Anyone who claims to have seen Babaji should be automatically red-flagged. Add to that, his claim to internally produce gold lingams...all I can say about that is, what good does it serve?
