STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A mass, procession through the streets of Little Italy, Italian food and entertainment will be the highlights of the 122nd Feast of St. Rocco on Aug. 21 in Manhattan.
“The St. Rocco feast is first and foremost a celebration of love for our beloved saint,” said Stephen La Rocca, president of the sponsoring St. Rocco Society of Potenza.
“However, it also serves to unite the Italian American community of the tri-state area in an expression of pride in our southern Italian culture and heritage.”
