Since I was in a similar boat Justin was regarding intellectual roadblocks (I briefly brought this up with him earlier) that limited my own faith and coming to find the Lord, I wanted to pray for him that he will find solace in the Lord and remain strong.
Dear Lord,
Please embrace your servant who struggles from time to time with doubt and uncertainty, lest him seek by your guidance in your truth and mercy for O' are thou mericful and ever wise! Heal the heartbreak and hurt, if he suffers, that impedes his union with you O' Lord. Watch over him and give him your love, protect him from high above. Let him find rest in you by your wisdom and to grow closer to you with his thoughts.
Lord have mercy.
I hope this prayer isn't inappropriate.
