Please offer your prayers for the next forty days (or whatever your tradition may be) for the soul of Anita...I believe her last name is spelled Grunwald.  She was an elderly woman from my parish who went in today for a bypass surgery, and I just found out she bled to death on the table.

memoria eterna.... :'(

Light perpetual shine upon her.  How sad.

I will add Anita to my humble prayers.

I learned of Anita's death just last night.  She was a wonderful lady.  Our priest just this past Saturday at Vespers reported that she was almost "strangely" up-beat about the upcoming surgery, that she was "eager to get on with it."  It gives me hope that she was very spiritually prepared.

She was a very supportive participant in a Scripture class I taught, but was very up-front with me that what she felt she really needed was a good overview of Old Testament stories.  I was looking forward to being able to offer something like that in the not too distant future, and to enjoying her participation.

Memory eternal! :-";"xx
