I saw where Tammy Faye Bakker Messner died late last week.  She was cremated and interred within 24 hours.  I guess her story has always interested me because of my proximity to PTL when all of the mess was going on.  While not Orthodox (in the least) the movie that was made "Fall From Grace" illustrates the depths to which pride and prelest can drag someone. The pictures from the interview she did with Larry King were like something out of a horror movie.  To see anyone in that condition should elicit pity.

Not to disrespect the departed, but in general all the "televangelists" are basicly showmen/women and must be either trained in showmanship or have a natural ability.  Seems like "evangelicals" have to have a charismatic preacher to be inspired.
