Please remember my mother Judy Orr in your prayers. She has been suffering chronic pain for a long time due to recently diagnosed pancreatitis, has to constantly take morphine, is often nauseous, has little nearby support, and is really losing hope as she waits to see a surgeon. On top of that, she is very far from her new and only grandchild (my son), and is worried she'll never get well enough to be a part of his life.

I have had chronic pancreatitis for several years now, with occasional outbreaks of acute pancreatitis attacks.  Prayers for your mother.  I have been able, thank God, to control the frequency of attacks and the other dreadful symptoms that go with this condition with a very limited and special diet -- no medication.  Not everyone could do it, I know.

If I can be of any help whatsoever, please let me know.  I can tell you how I came out of my last attack, now two years ago, and have been fairly pain-free ever since.

See many people suffer pancreatitis, it is terrible.
