My youngest son called this morning stating that my daughter in law is 3 cm dialated and 50% effaced. Addison, my grand-daughter is not due for until April 15th. Please pray for His mercy - and His will to be done.

Lord have mercy! I was also almost a month early, and though it is up for debate, I turned out OK. Yes, this actually could be a good thing - as this was a complicated pregnancy already and my DIL has a kidney that needs to be attended to. So. . .the Lord's will be done. . .  she's just gonna be tiny. . .**laughing** and I put the material in the wash THIS morning to make her baby clothes. . .oops. **blushes** Next baby will have the clothes started on the first day of the second trimester!! |

Update: Rebecca went into labor and was actually admitted to the hospital - then stopped (naturally without aid) about an hour after she was admitted. They released her, so she is home and trying to rest. She is still having very strong Braxton Hicks contractions - so it's hard for her to rest. I drove back home and will go back if things start moving forward again.

Addison Rylee L. was born at 2:03 AM (EST) April 1st, 2011 weighing 6lbs 7oz at 19 inches long. She has dark brown hair with gold undertones. She suffered a little bit of a rug burn on the way out - and had a little bit of a row with the forceps - but otherwise, she's healthy, beautiful and doing well. Mom is exhausted, happy and they got right on top of her blood issue as soon as Addi was born. Daddy is beaming from one end of the planet to the other. Thank you so much for your many prayers!! There was a serious blood issue and a kidney issue to contend with. The blood issue was easily managed and the kidney drained properly as soon as Addison was out of the way. Thanks be to God!! THANK YOU huge for all of your prayers!! |
