We would appreciate prayers for my husband's father, Carlisle.  He is having quintuple bypass heart surgery at 7am, Monday morning.  He is in pretty good shape overall but is 76 years old, so of course any surgery at that age is riskier.  Please also pray for his wife, Barbara.  Thank you.

Thank you everyone - the surgery went very well and he is resting comfortably.  He should be able to go home in a little over a week, and will have at-home care while he recovers and builds his strength.

May the Lord have mercy and grant him a speedy recovery!
