I was bored during my political science class, so I drew St. Mark of Ephesus trampling on the Pope, it is meant to be funny, nothing serious. Oh, yes, I can't draw, I know.

The first one is unnecessarily aggressive.

The second one is much better. If you like this, you could think of developing your skills to become an iconographer. :)

That's what I thought too. It's a hard to draw a little omophorion.

I agree. It was just a little joke, nothing serious.

Deaconess?

There are already two deacons in the icon or are those angels? They have the same clothes as you see in icons of St. Stephen the Protomartyr.

I believe a deacon (or even deaconess, at one time) could distribute Communion. However, even though the Theotokos gave birth to Our Lord, there's no evidence she was ordained a deacon. The person with the Communion spoon looks exactly like they make the Theotokos look in other icons, as far as the way she's dressed, so I assume it's her.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,

I thought the Nobel Prize was supposedly non-political.  Sort of like an Olympic medal for brains. Supposedly.
