Were you born and/or raised in Poland? If so you are atleast part Polish.  ;)

Do really you think Jesus was Latin? Nice.

He was born in raised in the region of the nationality we call him. So...if you were born/raised in Poland, you are atleast part-Polish. There is no way around that FACT

Is that the Forerunner preaching in Hell?
Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,
and urgent strife sheds blood.
If you blow on a spark, it will glow;
if you spit on it, it will be put out;
                           and both come out of your mouth

only slightly.  I arrived in Finland from Poland, I pretty much just went north.

Finland is Nordic.  Has been for some time. Has its own dialect of Swedish, which is official throughout the country.  Until 1817 Finnlad (or Österlanden) formed one of the four traditional lands of the Swedish Realm, its northern parts forming with the present northern parts of Sweden Norrland, another of the four. (the other two were Svealand, the heartland and cradle of the Swedish crown, and Götaland, the land of my roots in Sweden). As for the Sami, cousins of the Finns

the center of Orthodox Sami is in Neiden, Norway.

Since when are Poles Eastern Europeans?

Kind of depends who is occupying you at the moment.  The whole Warsaw Pact thing kind of made you Eastern Europe in the eyes of most Westerners that I know.

Poland has one foot in both worlds: Prussians are very Germanic, while the other regions run the gambit of Slavic colors.

But, given that Poles are far more religious that Western Europeans, I'd say that they are more Eastern than Western, and that's a good thing!

Agree.  In spite of my teasing, I do not consider being Eastern European as anything to be ashamed of.  I was rather proud when a psychologist who had been studying me for a week finally told me that I have the profile of a rather normal Eastern European.

You should provide a translation of what Babtsia says.

So, why is the video subtitled in Russian?

No less sad that a convicted criminal is currently a president... Then again, one of Polish after '89 presidents was a high ranking communist official...

It's normal for parish patronal feast when for the Liturgy comes not only bishop, a lot of clergy and parishioners, but also other guests.

During the foot pilgrimage from Warsaw to Grabarka we have also one Divine Liturgy in a forest (of course with alta, icons, candles and a normal tent ;)

Why the hell is it outside?

It's normal for parish patronal feast when for the Liturgy comes not only bishop, a lot of clergy and parishioners, but also other guests.

During the foot pilgrimage from Warsaw to Grabarka we have also one Divine Liturgy in a forest (of course with alta, icons, candles and a normal tent ;)

Must be a Polish thing lol. Never seen that in Norway, Sweden, USA, or Germany. lol

Because foot pilgrimage from Warsaw to Grabarka goes more than 100 km through the territories there is not any Orthodox church and it's important to partake Holy Communion, we have blessing of our Metropolitan to once during the pilgrimage, in a special place in forest we can celebrate Divine Liturgy. I'm attaching a picture from this Liturgy.

I know that also in Serbia and Romania for great celebrations with a lot of clergy and laymen there is organised a special altar (a tent or even a building as Michał posted) before the church.

Maybe in Poland it's less unusual because Roman Catholics quite often celebrate theirs Masses outside the church
Pray for persecuted Christians, especially in Serbian Kosovo and Raška, Egypt and Syria
