Because it's fun watching you get p'ed off. What is your problem? People convert to Orthodoxy because they're tired of seeing churches treated like auditoriums. But forget that, let's just mock someone with a serious concern.

Furthermore, this is not a case of prayerful attention...it is a propaganda move to advertise the Olympics. How is this different than having someone come inside the church and do some odd demonstration to further their own cause? Only difference is that the mascot is pushing Russian government interests....as in trying to get everyone on the bandwagon for the upcoming Olympics.

Were you born and/or raised in Poland? If so you are atleast part Polish. You really believe that we actually recognize differences between various Eastern Europeans? Nope, they are all Russia right? Speaking of this, the other day I had someone tell me they thought Norway, Danmark, and Finland were all part of Sweden. XD You are further on the East.
Technically Finland isn't Scandinavian (they are Nordic), so no.

Dressing like a clown is no different than a woman wearing a revealing dress....because both distract the other people from prayer. ...and I certainly wasn't "judging" anyone...simply agreeing that William had a point.

Would this image of Saint Athanasius be considered a canonical Icon?

I once read that Athanasius was blacker (and smaller) than the average Egyptian, but that black? I have a Byzantine-style icon of Athanasius I bought in Greece in which he is as white as can be, but this is the polar opposite

Were you born and/or raised in Poland? If so you are atleast part Polish. Do really you think Jesus was Latin? Nice. Technically Finland isn't Scandinavian (they are Nordic), so no.
