Propably a catafalque that is used on Great Friday and Dormition. That second one gives new meaning to the term "house church" Such blue-painted wooden churches are quite common there. |

Taking into account that most of that Churches were built in the Eastern Catholic era or slightly later (Russian neobaroque) - I have to agree. Luckily newly built churches have more traditional iconography. |

I used to make quite a stink out of it but now, I quite like it. I love the look of that church. Inside and out. Glory to God. |
