OF COURSE I know her name. I don't find pictures of random chicks and use them as my avatars. I am not a guy, haha. Mariangela Demurtas, the Sicilian lead singer of one of my favorite bands, Tristania. I was watching the "Year of the Rat" music video and she had wavy hair, a flower in her hair, and hoop earrings. I thought, "I want to be her!" Or I want her nose, at the very least. I thought she was Indian at first. Sorry for ruining your guessing game.

I don't know what reason I would have for typing "girls" into Google, or adding some qualifiers ("Russian girls," "Lebanese girls"). I think that when I type Russian into Google and my automatic search assumes "GIRLS," it's your* fault.

Hey, I know some of these guys are pervs, but don't blame me for this! I'm quite specific with my searches. And I really don't have to do searches any more, I just click on the links in a folder labeled "girls". Emmanuelle Chriqui... Karen Gillan... Michele Lepe... Miranda Otto... What more do I need?

LOL!
My Internet Connection at home is rather slow.... therefore, the whole image didn't show up right away.
This is what I saw...and it seemed to me like someone with their eyes closed, making a wish!

Wow. Being baptized in a beer keg? My priest had a fit when we suggested using a horse trough for an adult baptism. Neither did he want to use a kiddy pool as do the Greeks.

My priest had a fit when we suggested using a horse trough for an adult baptism.
The first Orthodox baptism I witnessed was in a horse trough. It was at a ROCOR parish with no pews, men and women separated, and all that other "traditional propriety" stuff. My first reaction to that pic was that, for those who don't know what's going on, it is definitely close to one of those: "Sense. This picture makes none." things.

That's interesting...the first Orthodox baptism I obsevred was in a Serb parish for an adult, and a horse trough was used. I thought it was quite mysterious and beautiful!

Wow. Being baptized in a beer keg? My priest had a fit when we suggested using a horse trough for an adult baptism. What's wrong with that? Before we had a baptismal font built permanently into the narthex of our church--our church building dates back only to 1996, though our parish community is much older than that--a horse trough was all we had for adult baptisms.

The original pic was going to be a bunch of people I've seen in chat, but I couldn't really figure out how to make it work, so I settled for just a couple awkward paintbrushed images.

Attempted? I'm not sure if he's trying to make bedroom eyes on purpose or what, but I think that people just naturally have them. I used to try to do that in the mirror when I was a teenager -- never worked for me.
