At first I thought that second by line said "Bobby Ghanoush."
Did anyone else think that the Nigerian Islamists were members of Procol Harum?

Indeed. She is adorable but also a extremely annoying creature. Fortunately she hasn't destroyed anything but a cd of Black Sabbath and a computer wire.

In these pictures:
1 - What was at the top of the Corcovado mountain in Rio before the statue of Christ; 2- A wounded KKK being saved by black doctors; 3 - Some isolated Brazilian Amazonian Indians who never had contact with civilization shoot arrows at the helicopter; 4 - One of those nasty problems for the life of the couple that should be aborted on demand, before destroying all they had planned for their lives, holds the finger of the doctor during an operation;

Tell that to my husband, who I haven't seen for the past week because he's been working 14 hour days. If you don't mind my asking, what does he do? My father works (pt) for FEMA and goes out a couple times a year when a hurricane or something happens. Seems like a crappy job to me, from what I gather... working basically as long as there's daylight, usually in bad weather/a hot sun all that time, but I guess it's nice to get a bunch of hours in at once.

To be as vague as possible he works on more of the labor side of that, for a private company. They get work for a ton of different things, but post-disasters is the time where they literally work around the clock in houses, commercial buildings, outside, to restore basic functions (water, electricity) and clean up the area. It's already an insane amount of hours, and after the earthquake and hurricane that hit the area, he's been non-stop. He came home around 7 PM last night, and that was a miracle.

It is a GenPet: http://www.genpets.com/index.php
They are getting a lot of coverage these days. A little bit controversial because of the genetic modification controversy, but nothing to worry about in the age of embrionic stem cell research. I heard they even got a stimulus grant from the White House as a 'green technology.'What IS that
