Is that an insult?

No, I meant when 3 years ago...when all I heard was how it was going to destroy the planet...then I did my reading on it and realized it isn't a threat.

I was trying to find this one icon where Sts Cyril in Athanasius stand together in triumph while Nestorius cowers in the background, but my search has been unsuccessful.  Sad

I have mad photoshopping skillz!  Tongue  No need to thank me, it was my pleasure making this exquisite work of art.

Here's a pretty nice icon of the two of them together, still no Nestorius, though.

I just found this picture on a romanian orthodox website and thought it looked nice Smiley

The one with the glasses is our priest, Fr. Poul. The man next to him is the romanian priest Fr. Mihai. His parish currently worship in a roman catholic church they are borrowing.

No offense to Young Earthers, whom I heartily respect when they do their homework, but this icon always makes me think of Answers in Genesis and their obsession with denouncing non-literal portrayals of Noah's Ark. "That's not a sea-worthy vessel! You're spreading
misinformation to the children!"

Arius was also know for his "marketing" campaign, so to speak. To better and further spread his doctrines, he created catchy songs and taught them along with his preachings at harbours, specially to sailors, because he knew they were going to travel along all the known world taking his ideas with them.
