Thanks. Poetry doesn't translate well into other languages. Still beautiful in English too. I wish we had Saints oozed into our national culture.
I presume you're not counting Perkele as a saint.

"Perkele" was apparently originally a Pagan god in the Baltics but nowadays it's associated with Satan. Hence the use as a profanity. While his name might be called upon quite often in numerous occasions he's not exactly a Saint. :P

I just need to find out how to say it in Slavonic!

I was kidding. A Finn said he was the granddad of Satan. Another said he was the granddad of Santa. Not sure whether both legends are correct or the latter was just taking a mickey.

I know. I just thought of sharing the background for the term in case you weren't aware of it.

Nice picture of Holy Thursday in the Most Holy Mother of God Cathedral, Rio de Janeiro, with all priests from the Polish Orthodox Church in Rio.

Pretty cool right?  :)

Formalized hand gestures of Roman oratory. The exordium gesture would later be adapted into the priestly blessing gesture in icons.

Christ my God, set my heart on fire with love in You, that in its flame I may love You with all my heart, with all my mind, and with all my soul and with all my strength, and my neighbor as myself, so that by keeping Your commandments I may glorify You the Giver of every good and perfect gift. The Christogram seems to look like it derived somewhat from the exordium gesture, except we use the ring finger.

They do look very similar, but the meaning of the Christogram gesture is so simple I don't feel it would be a direct adaptation of a prior formal gesture. I mean, there are limited ways we can posit our fingers.

They are free and wild Mustang ~ they've adapted to living on the high desert ~ feeding on Cheet grass even eating a bit of Shocklys Desert thorn & Tandy ``` We have a ranch in the Sierra Nevada mountains ~ one on the high desert ~ we love them too ``` Daughters have a few horsed ~  a couple are Mustang ~ they're very special ``` Only the strongest ~ live to breed ~ so ~ they're easy keepers ~ with not all the problems as domestic breeds ``` We have a small pond ~ that overflows to the outside of the fenced ~ so they can drop by ~ for a drink and nibble the Russian Olive trees that over hang the fence ``` We ~ many people ~ fight with the BLM ~ who likes to gather the Mustang ~ pretending to help them by thinning their number ~ but plan to sell them to truckers ~ to be taken to Mexico for slaughter ```

Glad you appreciate these beautiful creatures ```

That's nice.

I mean, I thought the problem was that there are too many wild horses. Sometimes thinning the heard is an unfortunate necessity. Horse meat can at least provide low-cost sustenance to the poor.

Yes brother ~ that's what they say ~ They say also the horses are destroying their habitat ~ Brother ~ they are Lying sacks of shizen ```

The truth is more like : There are not enought horses to eat all the forage and grasses ~ so that ~ we have range fires instead ```

There are no more herds ~there are bands of up to 8 horses~ and few and far between ~ altho ~ there is a band ~ now in Stagecoach  ~ that has as many as 18 or 20 ~ didn't count them ~ they're beautiful ~ saw them today ```

We did ~ through Congress ~ Stop the gathering of ~ some 40,000 ~ to be sold to slaughter ~ understand ~ I didn't do this ~ I did help the girls ~by posting a petition ~ Started by a Mustang protection `~ wild horse group ```

I hope this Topic fits here ```

No  brother ~ the BLM is ~Pretending to adopt horses out to Americans ~they are lying ~ they may let out a few ~ but when we hooked up the trailer and said we're on the way ~ the talk turned to babblellr8***lsnlkls8***~ They'r Lying brother ``` They have a deal or dealing with truckers to ~ take these beautiful animals ~ for sale ~ in Mexico ```  Good money for their ~Brother in Law ~ But not for the wild horses or the American people ```

The same BLM that other landowners say is constantly eminent domaining their land away in order to have more park space for imported wolves? The two conspiracy theories kind of clash don't they? Which should I believe?

I also have a hard time imagining that the BLM makes so much sweet green from selling crappy horse meat to impoverished Mexicans that it offsets the expense of capturing all those horses in the first place, let alone turns a profit.

Ugandan Old Believers:

Were they evangelized by Old Believers or did they start out as Canonical?
Christ my God, set my heart on fire with love in You, that in its flame I may love You with all my heart, with all my mind, and with all my soul and with all my strength, and my neighbor as myself, so that by keeping Your commandments I may glorify You the Giver of every good and perfect gift. Amen.
