What does the Arabic say?

But the problem is that the author of the shirt hasn't notice that the letters are separated, not connected (so, it means nothing, instead of wanted "Europa").
I see this anywhere Arabic is printed by non-Arabs. On multilingual outdoors, usually.

Yea it's a terrible shirt, and furthermore I wouldn't even spell it that way.

The worst thing is when it's a tattoo (this one at least is not from left to right):

And I just want to say that the photo is public.

Oh.  Well, that's...redundant?  I think I don't understand, but that's normal.

I don't understand either. I think it has something to do with the individual marks (letters?) being meaningless unless connected together (like English cursive)... or something... ???

That's what I gathered, too.  But someone feel free to correct if there's more to it!  I'll still consider myself to know nothing about Arabic, but I appreciate the mini lesson.  :)
And Dominika, are the letters on the shirt written the wrong direction, then?

In this case, but sometimes it happens, and it's even more terrible.

I believe a friend has told me about this picture before: it's Bp. Neophytos of Nyeri and Mt. Kenya being received as a king by his tribe. Extremely interesting and beautiful.
