They sell this at my workplace. When I first saw the word salad on the label I thought this had to be some kind of snake-oil/"miracle cure" product. It's not, it's just soap and the product itself is perfectly legit. That packaging though. It's the Time Cube of soaps.

For anyone curious, here's an article with more details about this weird soap.

Session of Serbian parliament, if I'm not mistaken. And everybody is wondering, how he has put headphones (people are joking that he needs translation from Serbian to Church Slavonic :P)

It's supposed to be a trilogy of his "heroes" with provocative titles (Killing Kennedy, Killing Lincoln, Killing Jesus)

I saw an interview of O'Reilly promoting  the book.  It struck me as adoptionist in tone.

If his televised movie of the same name is any indication of the contents of the book, it definitely has some theological issues.

Fox News plays it around Easter.  Maybe Christmas too.

One mistake was casting Emmanuelle Chriqui as Herodias.  It makes rooting for John the Baptist a bit more difficult for me.  :P

Iranians made an animated film about the mother of the 12th imam (whom they believe was a Byzantine princess).

She does seem rather oddly proportioned, though. Is she wearing stilts?
notice that they use a Vatican mitre, not one that a real Roman bishop in Constantinople would wear.

You sound like a professional who knows what he's talking about.  That's because you are.

Letter to Diognetus 11.4

not "Political Picture of the Day"?

Teaching kids to take 'No' for an answer is not political, it's a necessary part of parenting. The whole Fowl Language comic is very good like that. (Archive)
'Evil isn't the real threat to the world. Stupid is just as destructive as evil, maybe more so, and it's a hell of a lot more common. What we really need is a crusade against stupid. That might actually make a difference.'~Harry Dresden
