We deserve abundant chastisement.
OC.NET is full of temptations, but in temptations we are enforced, remember about the thread "Temptation in the Desert: Rachel Weisz and the Undoing of Mor Ephrem". OC.NET helps in becoming unpassionate.

We deserve abundant chastisement.
Why? Not that I disagree.

One of those things that convinced me about the Apostolicity of Marian veneration, when I was a Protestant.

I am justing beginning to listen to the Kassiana hymn...I'm actually surprised to hear how very very close musically to Coptic melisma that sounds like  :)

PS the only difference is what you do in 18 lines of words, we might do in one or two...case in point:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yb_ITZ_vNWM

Iranians made an animated film about the mother of the 12th imam (whom they believe was a Byzantine princess).

She does seem rather oddly proportioned, though. Is she wearing stilts?
I'm not going to be posting as much on OC.Net as before. I might stop in once in a while though. But I've come to realize that real life is more important.

I feel this way about the Cherubic Hymn. I swear my parish drags it out to be 15 minutes.
It's common knowledge that you secretly want to be born in early 17th century Russia.  As a serf or a royal, I know not.  Chances are serf.

My favourite terirem,  it's been also recorded by Angelopoulous choir for Nativity feast (edit: not the whole piece is the same)
The day of Resurrection 21 minutes
Cherubic hymn 29 minutes
O Champion Leader 19 minutes
Kassiani hymn (Church Slavonic) 23 minutes

That sounds more like a Coptic chant joke  ;)
Especially long Evlogimenos :P

OC.NET is full of temptations, but in temptations we are enforced, remember about the thread "Temptation in the Desert: Rachel Weisz and the Undoing of Mor Ephrem". OC.NET helps in becoming unpassionate.

First rule of confession: you don't take about what happens in confession.
"when Mme. Vauquer lay down to rest on the day of M. Goriot's installation, her heart, like a larded partridge, sweltered before the fire of a burning desire to shake off the shroud of Vauquer and rise again as Goriot." - Balzac

Sorry for people that are fasting now.

So, the police found this guy in an area with drug dealers, inspected him and found a lot of money in his pocket. He claimed he was just going to buy some bread with it. I'll let you guess how the story ends.
