There used to be a Russian artist who still does this style of illustration, though with comic themes. I watched for several hours while this bug tried to escape from a spider web. It was a blissfully exciting experience!*  *Note: the parts about me watching for hours and being blissfully excited are untrue. The bug really did escape from a spider web outside my door though.
