This is from Etsy's headquarters in New York.

Do they have potted plants in the main lobby?

How civilized.  The lobby floor is just as good.  Even better if it's carpeted.

To water the plants.
No, not THAT way...
Now zip up your pants!

I'm curious about how to pronounce this word....going to have to look it up soon.  Sometimes I love long Scandinavian word pronunciation...I hope this doesn't disappoint.  ;)

Here's an NPR article on the subject.  I'm sure my pronunciation of the word is too Swedish.  It sounds fun that way though.

Baha'i (an offshoot of Shiism) is conspicuously missing. It and the Ahmadiyya movement ought to have stars by them (Mirza Ahmad, to his followers, is on a similar level as Muhammad).

Also, depicting Islam as an offshoot of Nestorianism is rather arbitrary; Muhammad was influenced by several different religious groups.

Since when did atheists have a monopoly on medicine or medical research? Hospitals were Church-run long before they were corporate- or government-run, IIRC.

I do think memes like this would't exist if there weren't a sizeable fraction of Protestants (mostly Pentecostals, and a few hard-line Dutch Reformed) who do reject medical care on the grounds that it is incompatible with faith in God. I even had a customer at my workplace express those types of views to me. When I asked if he wanted to donate to the American Heart Association, he said the medical industry is a scam and he trusts "the healing promised by the Gospel". Folks like that are just playing into the hands of the smug atheists.

If you could get the 'keep Christ in Christmas [even though I don't care a whit about him the rest of the year]' people to quiet down, I would gladly help you in quieting the 'smug atheists' down. Consider it a Christmas present exchange perhaps? 8)
