Are those Old Rite clergy in the koukoulia?

If I'm not mistaken, I thought the only canonical Old Rite parish outside of Russia was in Erie, PA?
All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too
Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl

Well it's not like uncanonical clergy don't show up in photos or mirrors.

;)

That's Bishop George Shaefer of Canberra, the vicar Bishop of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand (ROCOR).

Believe me DeniseDenise, if those were Old Believer clergy, they'd rather be dead then caught serving with a "Nikonian".

My guess is that they're visiting from Russia.

As stated here, the hooded fellows are Abbot Sergei and Hieromonk Macarius from the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Bombala, New South Wales.

Maybe they just like playing dress-up for laughs.  You know, as a practical joke to the new bishop.

The veils they are wearing look very much like Old Rite garments.  The late Bishop Daniel of Erie wore a similar veil.

And some non old rite monastic schema are not dissimilar. Fairly sure they are not Old Rite yet as has been pointed out are from Holy Transfiguration Monastery which is not Old Rite either

Specifically, it's a group of Restorationists ("Campbellites", although they hate being called that) from Minnesota who believe that the "mainstream" Restorationist denominations, such as the Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ) and the Churches of Christ, have all gone apostate.

Watched Ravenous on TV t'other night. Not a horror fan but it had dark humor and cannibalism, so could one go wrong?
Don't like "wet horror movies" and this had enough to gag a maggot, however! that aside, a good flick, if only to watch the power plays of Good and Evil, Nietzsche & Christianity.
OK, I go far out a bit, however after reading this month's FIRST THINGS article by their winner (only moments before the movie) it was a home run, if not a grand slam.
Recommend, yes, if you've time to kill or need to rest up.
