As you can see, in the Vulcan Rite, the sign of the cross is made differently.

Who, looking at that picture, couldn't help but laugh or be disgusted? The last thing this picture does is inspiring devotion. It's so sugary it almost gave me diabetes.

Besides, the models of this painting are so aryan they could have been cast by Goebbels for one of his propaganda posters.

Kitsch in religious art is close to blasphemy.

Apparently people who like "sugary," sentimental things. Many feel the same dislike for contemporary Protestant worship music--yet tens of millions seem to sincerely like it and are inspired by it. *shrugs*

I like it. But even if I didn't like it, I wouldn't go that far to humiliate it and those who painted it.
