Erykah Badu, apparently (regarding the link: I haven't seen that 'obscene gesture' since I was maybe 7...  8) )

So... it's back?  ???

Rural western Pennsylvanians are well known for their sophistication and sobriety*, so perhaps I just stopped seeing it because of how mature the people around me were.

Many Energies, 3 Persons, 2 Natures, 1 God, 1 Church, 1 Baptism, and 1 Cup. The Son begotten only from the Father, the Spirit proceeding only from the Father, Each glorifying the Other. The Son sends the Spirit, the Spirit Reveals the Son, the Father is seen in the Son. The Spirit spoke through the Prophets and Fathers and does so even today.

Which relics?  These relics:

That's cool. Now I want to go stand out in a field during a thunderstorm.
The term planet earth is an innovation which has arisen in recent centuries with the error of heliocentrism.

If one wants to confess a pure doctrine of Orthodoxy, they should be careful not to refer to the earth as a planet, unlike the current Pope as well as Patriarch Kirill and Patriarch Bartholomew, who regularly speak in error when they refer to our planet earth.

Are you content with just being an intelligent hairless ape that just cannot resist the primitive urge to fling poo at people passing by,  just like a monkey in the zoo ?

Do you stay in the field and do the work that you accepted, or do you continuously run back into town and give people black eyes, or maybe push them down the stairs, because they don't do what you do ?

Hey, give him a break, that was his first time in the gym post-resurrection, and that's just a warm up set he's doing. Jesus is all about safety. What'd happen if he tore a pec? Then he'd be out of commission for a long time, unless some miracle worker happened to pass by.

+1, I always loved the smell of library basements, filled with row after row of those wooden card catalogs.

In 1965 there was a misperception among Roman Catholics and Orthodox Catholics in regard to the significance of the lifting of anathemas between Patriarch Athenogoras and Pope Paul VI. At around the same time there was a misperception among many young ladies on how to deal with lower rows of library card catalogs in regard to the significance of the simultaneous advent of miniskirts and pantyhose.

Unfortunately my memory of card catalogs precedes that of biro's.
